How to filter your assigning to just certain contact groups

Updated over a week ago

Contact Groups can allow you to retrieve a list of Eligible Officials or Ineligible Officials from within the Assigning Window and filter that list down to just a specific sub-group of officials in your organization. Once you have created one or more Contact Groups, you can use the group filter option in the Assigning Window to change which group you're viewing.

Additionally, if you always wish to start your assigning session with the same Contact Group, you can change the default group initially used by editing this in your Personal Profile under the Preferences tab.

Contact Group Privacy & Sharing

It's important to remember that Contact Groups are private and owned by the individual user who created the group. They are not owned or managed by the officiating organization. If you want other assignors to users to be able to see, access, or use your Contact Group, you must explicitly share the group with those users in the Contact Group's settings. To edit these settings, navigate to the Members Directory and choose the Contact Groups option from the top toolbar. Then, select the edit option for the group you want to edit, and adjust the sharing settings within the Contact Group.
