New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
This article covers Add/Edit Users for organization administrators with member-management access. Officials usually update their own profile under My Account; this page is for administrators maintaining the directory.
Open Add/Edit Users
Open a person from the Members Directory, or choose Add New when you need a brand-new member. Administrative Forms can also deep-link here for pending registrations and related tools.
Create or update a member
Enter the person's name and the membership fields your organization requires: role or user type, contact details, licenses, and affiliation settings. Save when you finish. Required fields show clear errors if something is missing.
On a computer, the same screen uses the wider layout.
Import many users
When your role includes import access, open Utilities and choose Import Users. That opens the spreadsheet import wizard. Prefer the import article for column rules and preview steps.
After you save
New members may need to activate their account or set a password, depending on how your organization invites people. Pending registrations and approvals stay under Administrative Forms and the Directory until someone accepts them.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout appears only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. Menu names below may sit under Administrative Forms or the classic side menu instead of the New Horizon navigation. The jobs you can do on the page stay the same even when the chrome looks different.
