Registering for a new user account

Use these instructions if you do not have an existing user account

Updated over a week ago

If you do not have a user account on the Horizon systems, you may use these steps to register for a new user account:

  • Complete the form and select the appropriate user type.

  • Ask your local officiating organization if you are unclear about which selections to make

Minimum Criteria to Register

To create a user account, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 13 years of age or older.

  • Must have a unique email address that has not been used by any other users on the Horizon software systems.

  • Must have a verifiable phone number to receive phone calls or text messages. A mobile phone number used for this purpose cannot be reused or shared with another user on the Horizon software systems. Landline home or work phone numbers can be shared. VoIP phone number masking services, similar to Google Voice are not permitted.

  • You must submit and use your real first & last name

  • You must submit and use your real physical address.

  • You must agree to the Horizon Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • You must have the organization number from the organization you wish to join (see below).

What is the Organization Number?

The organization number, sometimes called the association number, is a private number that identifies which group you want to join within the Horizon software system. The Horizon technical support staff cannot provide these to you. They are private. You can obtain these in one of two ways:

  • Option #1: Ask your local officiating organization to provide it to you directly

  • Option #2: Use the search option on the Sign-Up form to try to find it yourself. If you can't find it with a search, you'll need to revert to Option #1.

Wait for Approval

Your local officiating organization must review & approve your account. They can take as long as they want to do this. Some groups do this within a few seconds, some only do it once a month, and others may only do it once a year. Contact your local officiating organization if you have questions about their approval process and timeline. The Horizon technical support staff cannot approve your account.

Once approved, you'll receive an email notification with your username & password you can use to log in. Keep an eye on your spam, junk, and promotions folders, as this email is sometimes routed there by your email provider.
