New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
This article covers the evaluation screen used when coaches rate officials, and when officials rate fellow officials, if those features are on.
Open ratings from Members Home
Start from Members Home after you sign in. On a phone, open the side menu first whenever a step mentions the menu.
From Reminders (most common). On Members Home, look under Reminders for an item that says officials need to be rated (or a similar rating reminder). Open that reminder. If only one game needs a rating, it can open the evaluation for that game. If several are waiting, it may take you to your schedule so you can open each game.
From your schedule. In the side menu, open Schedule, then Personal (officials) or your Team schedule (coaches), depending on your role. Open the game that still needs a rating, then choose the rate / evaluation action for that game (for example Rate Fellow Officials when peer rating is on).
When you do not see rating reminders or the evaluation screen
Coach and fellow-official ratings are optional. If nobody is asked to rate, or the evaluation screen never opens, those rating features are off (or nothing is waiting to be rated).
Organization administrators: in System Settings, open Features & Settings. Under Evaluations & Ratings, turn on the systems you need:
Coach Ratings & Rankings (Feature #32) for coaches (and related coach-audience roles) to rate officials
Fellow Official Ratings & Rankings (Feature #33) for officials to rate each other
Observer Ratings & Rankings (Feature #34) when observers rate officials
Use the ratings gear / detailed settings for mandatory ratings, reminder behavior, and who can see results. After the right systems are on, Members Home Reminders and the schedule rate actions appear when games still need a rating.
Submit a rating
Open the evaluation, choose the rating values your organization uses, add comments when allowed, and save. After you submit, that game leaves the waiting list.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout appears only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. Menu names may sit under Administrative Forms or the classic side menu. The jobs you can do on the page stay the same.
