New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
This article covers the Organization Policy acceptance screen officials must complete when the organization requires it.
How you get here from sign-in
After you sign in, Horizon normally opens Members Home. If your organization requires policy acceptance and you have not accepted the current policy (or your last acceptance is older than one year), Horizon opens Organization Policy instead of Home. This is not a side-menu item - it blocks normal use until you accept.
A small set of account pages can still open without accepting first. Almost every other page returns you here until you finish.
When this screen appears (and how to require the policy)
Members do not open Organization Policy from a normal menu. It appears after sign-in when your organization requires policy approval and you have not accepted the current policy (or your last acceptance is older than one year).
Organization administrators: in System Settings, open Preferences. Under Member policy acknowledgment, enter or edit the Policy text, then turn Require policy approval to Yes. Confirm when Horizon warns that turning this on (or changing the wording) resets acknowledgments. Save. Officials must then accept before everyday use. Use View acknowledgments on that same Preferences area to see who has accepted.
Accept the policy
Read the organization's policy, check I accept the organization's policy, then choose Accept Policy. When that succeeds, Horizon continues to Members Home. On a computer you may also use Print policy if you need a printable copy before you accept.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout appears only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. Menu names may sit under Administrative Forms or the classic side menu. The jobs you can do on the page stay the same.
