New Horizon Experience. Free Email-to-SMS assignment texts depend on carrier gateways that many providers have retired. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile have discontinued their free Email-to-SMS gateways, so assignment texts through those free settings will not arrive. Officials can set up paid Premium SMS (real SMS) under Add-on services on Personal Profile. Free push notifications through the Horizon WebRef mobile app for Android and iOS remain available. Opt in to free Email-to-SMS on Personal Profile → Notifications only when your carrier still offers a gateway.
On a computer, the same warning appears on Notifications.
