To help keep Horizon safe, appropriate, and compliant with our Terms of Service, we use a combination of automated filters (including AI) and limited, discretionary human review to screen certain types of user-submitted content.
This filtering applies to items such as game notes, memos, documents, and outbound emails. Our goal is to reduce harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material while ensuring our system remains a professional officiating environment.
Important:
We do not review or monitor everything.
Our filtering may not detect all violations.
Users remain fully responsible for the content they submit and must remain compliant with our Terms of Service at all times.
What We Filter
We may block, flag, or remove content that violates our Terms of Service or acceptable content standards. Prohibited examples include:
Drugs, alcohol, or gambling references.
Unauthorized advertising or spam, including promotional materials, chain letters, pyramid schemes, mass mailings, or solicitations.
Medical advice or medical-related claims.
False, misleading, or fraudulent content.
Obscene or offensive material, such as lewd, lascivious, filthy, or harassing content.
Violent or threatening content, including encouraging physical harm or advocating government overthrow.
Disparaging or abusive remarks that ridicule, mock, intimidate, or target individuals or groups.
Discriminatory content related to race, national origin, gender, sexual preference, or physical handicap.
Exploitation of minors, including sexual or violent content, solicitation of personal information from anyone under 18, or any material violating child protection laws.
Infringing content that violates the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
Misuse of likeness or personal rights without the proper written consent or release of any identifiable individual in your content.
Privacy violations, such as sharing someone else’s personal or confidential information without permission.
Links to illegal or objectionable material.
No Overrides or Exceptions
If your content is blocked, we will not override, bypass, or whitelist it.
You must revise your submission to comply with our policies.
We do not provide exceptions or manual workarounds.
How to Fix a Blocked Submission
Check your wording for prohibited themes or potentially blacklisted terms.
Rephrase content to stay professional and neutral (e.g., instead of “doctor said he needs medication,” use “player is unavailable for personal reasons”).
Remove unnecessary detail that could resemble restricted content.
Resubmit after editing.
Note: Our systems are conservative. False positives can occur, but we do not manually approve blocked content. You’ll need to adjust and resubmit.
Reporting Content
If you see content you believe is offensive or violates our policies, you may report it at https://horizonwebref.com/contact
We may review and take action in our sole discretion, which can include:
Account limitations (without refund)
Lockouts (without refund)
Suspensions (without refund)

We are not obligated to review or act on every report, and we do not guarantee removal or enforcement in every case.
