New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is currently available only in the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS. It is coming soon to desktop and laptop.

This article covers Members Home in HorizonWebRef - the landing page you see after you sign in to an organization.

It applies to signed-in members of that organization, including officials, assignors, coaches, observers, and organization administrators. Use it when you want a quick picture of your season, the current organization note, reminders that need action, or a shortcut into schedule, availability, profile, and other everyday tools. If you are not signed in, this page is not available.

Open Members Home

Sign in to HorizonWebRef and open Home from the menu, or go to Members Home. If you belong to more than one organization, switch to the organization you want before you rely on the message, reminders, or shortcuts.

Members Home on a phone. The greeting, season snapshot, latest organization message, and reminders are all filled in.

Welcome and season snapshot

The welcome card greets you by name and shows how close you are to your next milestone. The snapshot card next to it shows season counts and how long you have been a member. Assignors see assigned-game counts. Officials and other members see season and lifetime counts. Nested tiles inside the snapshot do not change the overall card.

Organization messages

Officials see the latest organization message. Older notes stay in history; Home keeps the current one in front so you do not have to scroll past earlier posts. If nothing is posted, you see an empty card. Organization administrators who can post may add a new message from the header or the empty card.

A standard message stays on Home until a newer one replaces it. A high-priority message must be read and acknowledged before you can continue into the rest of the organization. Only the organization's System Owner can publish, edit, or delete those posts from the organization-message tools. The System Owner is designated on System Settings.

You can like the current message. If you posted it (or you are the primary administrator), you can delete it. Deleting a message cannot be undone.

On a phone, a short preview opens the full message. On a larger screen, the full message is already on the card.

Print the current message

On a desktop or laptop browser, use Print on the Organization Messages bar to open a printable page with a short Horizon header, your organization name, and the current message. Print is hidden in the Horizon WebRef mobile apps. If a pop-up is blocked, allow pop-ups for this site and try again.

Reminders, forum, and shortcuts

Reminders list items that still need your attention, such as a turnback request. Refresh the list when you want a current count. Some reminder actions ask you to choose an option, such as viewing or rejecting a request. Rejecting a turnback request cannot be undone and notifies the person who asked.

When your organization uses the discussion forum, the forum card shows recent topics. Settings and administrator cards offer shortcuts into schedule, availability, profile, contacts, and people who administer the organization. Expiration or balance alerts appear only when they apply to your role and organization.

If something looks empty

If you do not see an organization message, nothing current is posted for your role. If reminders say you have done it all, there is nothing waiting. Shortcuts that do not apply to your role or organization settings simply do not appear.
