New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
This article covers the Discussion Forum on Members Home when your organization turns forums on.
Open the Discussion Forum from Members Home
Start from Members Home after you sign in. On a phone, open the side menu first whenever a step mentions the menu.
On a computer, the same screen uses the wider layout.
On Members Home itself, find the Discussion Forum card (officials, coaches, or athletic directors when the forum system is on). You do not need a separate side-menu page for the forum list - it lives on Home.
To read a topic, choose it in the list (View Discussion). To start a new topic, choose Start a Topic (or the new-topic control on the card).
When you do not see Discussion Forum on Members Home
The Discussion Forum card appears on Members Home for officials, coaches, and athletic directors only when the community forums system is on.
Organization administrators: in System Settings → Features & Settings, turn on Community Forums System (Feature #50), then save. After it is on, those roles see Discussion Forum on Members Home and can start or open topics.
Start a topic or reply
Enter a discussion topic between 5 and 30 characters, then write your message. Your organization may require a minimum message length. Use View Discussion to open a topic thread and reply.
Delete a message or topic
When you have permission, delete a single message after you confirm, or delete an entire topic and all of its messages when that action is offered. Follow the on-screen confirmation text exactly when asked.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout appears only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. Menu names may sit under Administrative Forms or the classic side menu. The jobs you can do on the page stay the same.
