This article covers Auto-Assign on Master Game Schedule. An organization administrator must turn on Feature #1 in System Settings before assignors can run it.

Open Master Game Schedule from Schedule. Select the games you want to fill. Open Utilities, then Scheduling tools, then Auto-Assign. Set officials, positions, and any extra limits, then start the run. Review the board afterward and fill any gaps by hand.

Publish the games when you are ready to release the assignments. You can undo an Auto-Assign session and try different settings. You can also run more than one session on the same games (for example, one position at a time). Assignments are not issued directly to users under 13. Officials must already be members of the organization.

Auto-Assign looks for officials who are eligible for the game and position. Eligibility includes the availability calendar plus rank, age, groups, block lists, site rules, TBA responses, mileage when Feature #47 is on, game linking when Feature #2 is on, and other organization rules. Being available that day does not by itself mean eligible.

Helpful setup: turn on mileage even if you do not pay it, use contact groups for pools, link games first when you want the same crew, and collect TBA responses before you run Auto-Assign so those replies can be prioritized.

On desktop or laptop, check the game boxes, then open Auto-Assign from the Automation menu on the top toolbar of Master Game Schedule. The Auto-Assign console and Auto Assign Now step are the same after that.
