New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. On a computer or laptop you see it when you are in New Horizon. If you still have the older layout, choose Try the New Horizon Experience from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back from that menu any time.
Delete on the Master Game Schedule permanently removes unpublished games from your organization. Open Master from Schedule when you are signed in as an assignor or organization administrator. Officials, coaches, League Personnel, and observers cannot delete games, even when they can see the board.
Use this article when you need to clear several unpublished games at once - extras from an import, games you created by mistake, or a block that should never have been published. If you only need to take published games off the schedule and notify the crew, use How to cancel games in bulk instead. Cancel and delete are different: a cancelled game stays on the board. A deleted game is gone.
Who can delete, and how it works
There is no switch to turn bulk delete on. If you can manage the Master Game Schedule as an assignor or organization administrator, Delete appears when the selected games are allowed to be removed. Organization administrators set those roles in membership. Members who cannot change membership can still use this wording when they ask why Delete is missing.
Deleted games cannot be recovered. Horizon asks you to type a confirmation phrase that includes the word DELETE and the count so a stray tap cannot wipe the list.
Which games can be deleted
A game is removed only when it meets every rule below. If some of your selection fails, those games stay on the board and Horizon tells you how many were skipped.
It must be unpublished.
It must not be cancelled.
For more than one game, it can be no older than 30 days in the past.
If the date is already in the past, it must have nobody assigned.
It must have been created by you, or you must be an organization administrator.
That last rule is why two assignors can see different Delete results on the same list. Organization administrators can delete eligible games they did not create. Assignors who are not organization administrators can only bulk-delete games they added themselves.
Select the games
Start on Master Game Schedule. Narrow the date range if you need to, then tap the unpublished snapshot chip when you want to hide published games. On a computer, check the box on the left of each row. Shift-click extends the selection. On a phone, tap each card or its checkbox. Select visible grabs every game currently on screen when you need the whole page.
As soon as one or more games are selected, a bright red bar pins under the top navigation and stays on screen no matter how far you scroll. It shows the selection count plus Select visible, Clear, and Actions.

Choose Delete from Actions
Open Actions on that red bar, then Status if you see that group, and choose Delete. Delete lives in that menu. It is not one of the shortcut buttons on the bar itself.

To delete one unpublished game without selecting a group, open that game's three-dot More actions menu, then Status, then Delete. Horizon still checks the same rules and still asks you to type the confirmation phrase.
Type the confirmation
Horizon first checks which selected games are allowed to be removed. Then it asks you to type the phrase on the screen, including the count. For three games the phrase looks like DELETE 3 Games. Your organization may say Matches, Contests, or another game label instead of Games. Type it exactly, then choose Delete.

If you opened the window by mistake, choose Cancel. Nothing is removed until the typed phrase matches and you confirm. After a successful delete, a short message tells you how many games were deleted. Ineligible games stay where they were.
Deleted games cannot be recovered. Related assignments, notes, and link groups for those games are removed with them.
If Delete is missing
If you do not see Delete, either the selected games do not meet the rules above or your membership does not allow you to delete. Published and cancelled games never delete. A past game that still has officials assigned never deletes. Games older than 30 days never delete when you select more than one.
Unpublishing a game first can make Delete available, as long as the other rules still pass. That is a separate step from Publishing Games and Assignments.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout stays until you choose Try the New Horizon Experience from the banner or your account menu. This article describes the New Horizon screen. Until that older layout is retired, use the English words you see there. Check the boxes to the left of the unpublished games, open Publishing on the top toolbar, and choose Delete. The same eligibility rules apply. Deleted games cannot be recovered.
