New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
The Individual Payroll Report is the game-by-game pay sheet for one person (or for every official when you choose that option). Organization administrators and finance-capable assignors open it from Administrative Forms under Finance Forms, where the menu says Payroll Reports. Everyday officials open the same report from Personal Forms as Personal Payroll Report and see their own earnings.
Use this report when you need the line-item detail behind someone's pay: which games, which fees, travel, deductions, and adjustments. When you only need one total per official across the organization, use the Payroll Summary Report instead. For step-by-step electronic payouts from a payroll report, see How to send payments for game assignments.
Which report should I use?
Individual Payroll Report answers "what did this person earn, game by game?" Each block is one official. Inside that block you see every qualifying assignment in the date range, then a per-person total.
Payroll Summary Report answers "how much does each official owe or get paid for this period?" Each row is one official with rolled-up totals only. There is no game list on that page. Everyday officials cannot open Payroll Summary; only assignors, organization administrators, finance-capable observers, and coaches or athletic directors whose organization turns on coach payroll visibility can.
A common workflow for staff is to start on Payroll Summary to see who is owed money, then open Individual Payroll and choose that official in Filters when a total needs explaining. Do not tell an everyday official to open Payroll Summary or to use the Official picker.
Open the report and set the date range
Sign in, open Administrative Forms (or Personal Forms if you are reviewing only your own pay), and choose Payroll Reports / Personal Payroll Report. The page title reads Individual Payroll Report.
The date range control near the top defaults to your organization's fiscal season. Tap or click it to pick this month, last month, the season, the last 365 days, or a custom start and end. The report reloads when the range changes.
Payroll adjustments appear only when Date Applied falls inside that range. The date the adjustment was created does not control this. Set Date Applied on Payroll Adjustments if a personal deduction or bonus should land in a past pay window. Officials without finance permissions may open Payroll Adjustments for their own rows when Personal Forms shows that link; staff with finance access use it for the organization.
On a computer, the same report shows a wide table under the summary cards, with Filters and Utilities beside the date range when those controls are available on your device.
Show a different official (staff only)
The Official filter appears only for assignors, organization administrators, Designer staff, and observers with finance permissions. If you do not see Official in Filters, you cannot switch people on this report. Everyday officials always see their own work and should not look for that dropdown.
When Official is present, open Filters (the funnel). Choose a specific person, or choose All Officials to stack every qualifying official's detail in one report. Changing Official refreshes the report right away. For leagues, game codes, teams, locations, positions, and payment status, choose Apply Filters after you set them. Clear Filters returns to the defaults for the current date range.
On a computer, Filters opens as a panel on the right with the same dimmed backdrop. The Official list sits at the top of that panel when your role can use it.
After you pick someone else, the summary cards and the detail block update to that person. Active filters show as labels above the report, and the Filters button can show a small count badge.
Search inside the report
Under the summary cards, use the search box to narrow the rows you are looking at. You can search by name, team, reference number, location, or game number. Search works inside the officials and games already loaded for your date range and filters. It does not replace the Official filter when staff need a different person's full paysheet.
What the numbers mean
Summary cards at the top show Total Due (or Total Earned for some self-service views), Games, Travel, and Adjustments for the current filters. The Travel summary card appears when your organization tracks mileage; otherwise that card may show zero or stay unused.
Each assignment row typically includes:
Date / Time, Teams, location, and Position
Fee - for organization administrators and assignors, the billed game fee before the usual position deduction. Officials often see the fee after that deduction, depending on your organization's gross-pay display setting.
Travel - mileage or travel pay when your organization tracks it. Rows marked Paid By Team are vouchered to the team and are not paid from the organization's normal payroll total the same way.
Per Diem, Tolls, and Other when those amounts exist on the assignment
Deductions - amounts taken out of the billed fee (a flat dollar amount, or a percent of the fee when the stored deduction is a fraction)
Net - after the deduction, plus travel and other reimbursements on that line
At the bottom of each official's block you will see totals such as Total Games Displayed, Total Games Paid, Game Fees, Travel Fees, assignor or association fee lines when those apply, adjustment lines, and Grand Total / Total Due.
How the grand total is built (member language):
Start with game fees (billed for staff views; after the usual deduction for many official self-views).
Add travel and other reimbursements (per diem, tolls, other) when those amounts exist.
Subtract assignor fees and association fees when your organization charges them (either a flat amount per game, or a percent of net game fees).
Add payroll adjustments whose Date Applied is in range (bonuses raise the total; subtract-from-payroll amounts lower it).
Subtract annual dues when dues apply to that official view and the report is not on a custom date path that hides dues.
On a phone, the same information appears as stacked cards so nothing is cut off sideways.
Other filters (only when your organization shows them)
Besides Official (staff only), Filters can include leagues, game codes, teams, a home/away team search rule, locations, and positions. Those pickers appear only when your organization uses that list and your role is allowed to filter by it. If a picker is missing, it is not available for your account or organization. Do not tell someone to use a filter that is not on their Filters panel.
Payment Status (Unpaid Only, Paid Only, or Paid and Unpaid) is available for everyone who can open the report. Leave Unpaid Only on when you are preparing an electronic payment so you do not try to pay the same games again.
Include adjustment details keeps the adjustment lines visible under the game list. A Payment Source filter (organization-paid versus team-paid) appears only for certain official self-service views. Assignors and organization administrators do not use that control on this page.
Print, export, and electronic payment
Utilities (gear on smaller screens) is where Print and exports live when the menu is shown. In the Horizon WebRef Android app, Utilities is currently hidden on this report, so Print, Export, and Send as Electronic Payment are not available there. Use a computer browser, or the iOS app where the menu still appears, when you need those actions.
When Utilities is visible:
Export CSV and Export to Word download the current filtered report.
Export PDF appears only when your organization has PDF export enabled for financial reports.
Print opens a printable paysheet. Print is not offered inside the iOS app utilities menu; use Export PDF or open the report in a full browser when you need paper.
Send as Electronic Payment appears only when your organization has electronic payroll payment set up and your account is allowed to send payments (organization administrators and assignors with that access). Everyday officials do not see this option. You must be on unpaid results before it continues.
Very large ranges may need a narrower date window before an export or print will start.
Troubleshooting
You only see your own name: That is expected for everyday officials. Staff who should switch people must see Official inside Filters. If they do not, they need assignor or organization administrator finance access.
You do not see Official, a league picker, or Utilities: Use only the controls on your screen. Missing items are role-, organization-, or app-specific, not a broken page.
The report looks empty: Widen the date range, clear filters, or set Payment Status to Paid and Unpaid.
A game is missing: Check vouchered / paid-by-team status, cancelations, acceptance, and publish rules. See Why doesn't my game show up on the payroll report?.
An adjustment is missing: Check Date Applied on Payroll Adjustments.
Numbers differ from Payroll Summary: Confirm both reports use the same date range, payment status, and league/team filters. Summary rolls everyone up; Individual shows line detail for the Official you selected (when you can select one).
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout stays only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. This article describes the New Horizon screen. Until that older layout is retired, use the English words you see there. The Official picker and Search control may sit in a Search toolbar instead of a Filters panel.
