New Horizon Experience. This article describes the New Horizon Experience, which is available now. As of September 28, 2026, New Horizon is the default starting point on a computer or laptop. In the Horizon WebRef mobile apps for Android and iOS, New Horizon is already what you see. If you still have the older layout, choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu. You can switch back to Legacy Horizon from that menu any time during the transition.
This article covers Contact Groups for officials and assignors who manage messaging lists. Open it from Users / Groups in navigation, or from Compose Email when you choose manage contact groups.
What Contact Groups are for
A contact group is a named list of people you can email or target together. Use groups when the same set of officials, coaches, or staff should receive messages often.
Open and manage groups
Open Contact Groups from the Users area. Add a group, name it clearly, and save. Open a group to add or remove members. Search helps when the directory is long.
On a computer, the same screen uses the wider layout.
When your organization uses the missing-groups helper, Utilities can open a panel that shows people who are not in any group yet so you can finish coverage.
Use a group when you send email
In Compose Email, open Select Recipients and choose the contact group. You can combine groups with individual people. Each person still gets one copy of the message.
If you still see the older layout
On a computer or laptop, the older legacy layout appears only if you switched back to Legacy Horizon. Choose Switch to New Horizon from the banner or your account menu to return. Menu names below may sit under Administrative Forms or the classic side menu instead of the New Horizon navigation. The jobs you can do on the page stay the same even when the chrome looks different.
