When it comes to subscription renewals, we offer specific payment options and follow certain currency considerations. We aim to provide clarity on these matters to address common questions from our customers. Please review the following information regarding payment methods and currency policies for subscription renewals:
Payment Options for Subscription Renewals:
Online Credit Card Payments: Subscription renewals can be conveniently paid online using major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Our online payment portal, located at the top of the Members Home page, allows for secure credit card transactions. Please note that this payment option is only visible during the 30-day renewal period, which starts 30 days prior to the expiration date and concludes upon completion of the renewal payment.
Check Payments (US Organizations): For customers within the United States, we accept payment by check for subscription renewals. This option is not available for purchasing and activating a new subscription.
It is important to note that relying on regular mail for check payments carries certain risks. Delays, lost mail, or postal disruptions could occur, potentially resulting in your payment being delayed or even lost in transit. This situation could lead to your subscription expiring, late payment fees being charged, or unnecessary complications arising. It's also important to understand that check payments typically require up to 14 days from the date of receipt for processing and crediting to your account. To ensure a smooth and timely renewal process without such concerns, we strongly recommend utilizing the online credit card payment option, which offers security, reliability, and immediate processing.
Currency Considerations:
US Dollar Invoicing: As a company based in the United States, all our invoices are issued in US dollars (USD). Payments are collected in USD, and any currency conversion will be handled by your credit card company based on prevailing exchange rates.
Foreign Currency Check Payments: We do not accept check payments issued in foreign currencies. If we receive a check in a foreign currency and it is applied to your account, there may be insufficient funds to cover your balance due to currency conversion rates. In such cases, we may charge a currency conversion fee. This situation typically occurs for users in Canada who issue checks in Canadian dollars, which we can only verify after cashing the check.
Important Notes:
Non-Refundable Renewal Payments: Please be aware that all renewal payments made for subscription renewals are non-refundable. Once the payment is submitted, it cannot be reversed.
Changes to Subscription Packages: After completing the renewal payment and outside of the renewal window, changes to subscription packages are not permitted. We recommend reviewing and finalizing your desired subscription package before submitting the renewal payment.
Credit Card Payments for Currency Stability: To avoid potential extra foreign currency check fees associated with check payments in foreign currencies, especially for customers outside the United States (particularly Canadian customers), we recommend paying by credit card. Credit card payments offer stability and eliminate the uncertainty surrounding currency conversions and associated fees.
Please keep these payment options and currency considerations in mind when proceeding with your subscription renewal. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, our support team is readily available to provide guidance and support.
